A tech came by my house today and said Advantage had a service agreement with the previous owners. He wanted a check to renew service or he would have to collect their traps. I said I would be happy to look over a service agreement. He insisted I write him a check right then or he'd take the traps, so I told wasn't writing a check without looking over any paperwork. He proceeded to start digging up the traps by chopping up the yard with an axe and severed our fiber line. He claimed it was the company's fault for being close to their traps. I called the internet support but they had a 30 minute wait, so the Advantage tech took off. So this company pretty much operates like a criminal extortion racket. Don't have any dealings with them and do not let them on your property.

Hi Zach I apologize for any misunderstanding, Michelle called our office at 1:48 and left a message. We tried to return her call at 2:08 so we could talk and resolve the problem, but got her voicemail. We asked her to call us back as soon as she got a chance. You then left a review at 2:29 before we even had a chance to speak. Prior to today we had sent 6 letters to your home on dates: 4/27/22, 5/4/22, 5/11/22, 5/18/22, 5/24/22, and 6/1/22 and a technician left a note at your residence back on November 10, 2021 about the stations. The letter on on 6/1/22 stated that we would be out to remove the stations if we did not hear anything within 10 business days. The stations are property of Advantage and we do have a contract on file that states that. I apologize if the technician was rude, and we are more than willing to speak with you about the situation if you return our call. To remove the stations the techician uses a pick axe as a lever around the top of the station to lift it out of the ground. there is no digging, or chopping up the yard or any disturbance it just lifts the station out of the dirt. Again we are more than happy to speak with you about the situation.
